Red Revival – Modern Touches Lead to Amazing Renovation

| | House Of The Week

On this #HouseOfTheWeek property spotlight, we highlight the modern transformation of a 3-bed, 1-bath single family rental located in Kansas City, Missouri. The renovation was executed through a partnership between US Real Estate Equity Builder and Cabana Properties, LLC. Cabana Properties was founded by Jeff Bolf, Troy Brown, and Chris Mayberry – all seasoned investors that take a fix and flip approach to maximizing their investments. This property’s quick transformation showcases the power of light rehabbing with a slight modern touch. As seen in the “before” images, the property lacked some tender loving care (TLC). This is visible in the outdated paint colors throughout the property, dirty carpets, used bathrooms, aged staircase, and moldy basement.

The renovation addressed these issues while adding a modern touch to the property. The kitchen now features white wooden cabinets and complementary floor as well as counter tops paired with dark gray walls, which include a mosaic tile backsplash. In the bathroom, one can now find a light grey tile that transitions to the shower, along with grey walls and brand new bathroom fixtures. The common areas and bedrooms now feature dark gray walls that contrast with white touches throughout the home along with a comfy shag carpet. The most stylistic upgrade, representative of the modern approach, is the red finish on the exterior of the property. A once raggedy wooden staircase is now an accented modern entrance that is paired with red and white window shutters and a red garage door. Followed up by some light exterior landscaping and the repaving of the garage entrance, this home is now launched into the 21st century and ready to be made into a happy home.
